Foster Fundraiser + Foster Needed Supplies Drive for AHNM
On Saturday, March 26 from 10:30am - 2:30pm, New Studio A.D. | Art + Design, located at 312 Rosemont Ave, NE in Albuquerque will be hosting a combination fundraiser and foster supply drive/drop off day. Thank you in advance for your generosity.) We believe at least two of the pups will be in attendance at this event and more may be in attendance as we hear from those who have recently adopted some of these sweet babies.
The fundraiser is being held to help reimburse those foster families for any outstanding expenses they may have incurred when they stepped up to help care for Sweet Pea and her 10 pups after they were rescued from euthanasia from a high-kill New Mexico animal shelter the beginning of this past January.(Those foster families who have receipts they'd like to have reimbursed should email us to arrange to provide copies of their receipts for reimbursement.) Any funds raised beyond those receipt totals will be donated to Animal Humane New Mexico. Without their assistance beginning when the puppies were almost 3 weeks of age, this success story may have never come to pass.
Along with the fundraiser, we will be collecting much need supplies to deliver to the Animal Humane New Mexico Foster Care program which serves as a vital link between the rescue or care of an animal and that animal's adoption. The foster program needs many different supplies to keep the program running and to make it affordable for people who want to volunteer their time and energy to care for orphaned kittens and puppies, mamas and litters, etc. Please feel free to bring any of the following supplies on the current AHNM foster care list:
